Take Care

Jacket - Bershka // Jumpsuit - Zara // Top - Brandy Melville (similar) //Bra - Similar, Similar, // Shoes - New Look

This jacket! If you’re going to purchase one last thing in 2016, let it be this jacket. I’m not just directing this at girls, guys too- get your girl, sister, friend this jacket if you’re looking for a good Christmas gift. It’s super warm and in my opinion, affordable for what it is and does. Winter can be, for some, one of the worst times of the year especially when you can’t spend it with your family and it’s also cold! Regardless, I hope everyone is taking care of themselves.

This is something I have been struggling with this winter, taking care of myself. Sometimes I would be so busy and would just forget to eat. I started to notice that it had an effect on not just my body but my mind. I don’t think a lot of people realise just how important eating right is. It can literally have an affect on your thought processes. For me, my anxiety started to get worse and I got weird drab mood swings. Thankfully though, I have good friends around me, especially my flatmate who always snaps me back to my regular self. However, some people don’t have that. For those of you who don’t, let me be that person that snaps you out of it and says, take care of yourself! It might seem hard but your mental health comes first and that also links with your physical health. It’s important! Take a step back from whatever it is that seems to be plaguing your mind and ask, am I taking care of myself? Question what is stopping you from doing that. Perhaps it’s time to give yourself a break before you break.

I know this post is more personal but I feel it’s important to say this, especially at this time of the year. After 2016, I feel like we all need to recover and mentally prepare for 2017 J.

Take care lovelies and Happy Holidays!

PS: I may be doing a giveaway sometime in January so keep an eye out! Xx

  1. so I think this post is really sweet. As an architecture student, I basically don't have time for myself. I get so stressed that I develop unusual pimples and begin to lose times I look shabby....At times I forget what it's means to have a warm bath or to even watch TV...but I think I've gotten to the point where I'm able to give myself a break...and that has really paid off....thanks alot..
PS....I want that is super beautiful...the colour is just right...thanks again

    1. Thank you! Don't forget to look after yourself first (mind & body). x
