Into the new year...

Hey lovelies, I know it's been a whileeee but I thought I'd start this year off with a blog post! So much has happened since my last post, both good and bad, but I won't get into that today. I just thought it would be appropriate to say what I've learned in  the past year and let you guys know some of my new years resolutions and some general advice to take into the new year. This is definitely one of my more personal/chatty posts but I thought it would be great to share and I hope you get something from it...

Bloggers Fashion Week

Top- Miss Selfridge, Jeans - Urban Outfitters, Jacket- Primark, Bag- Parfois

Hey lovely people, I know it's been a while since I posted anything on the blog but it's not because I decided to take a break. My unexplained hiatus was due to the fact that I was having problems with my laptop so I couldn't edit and upload pictures.
Anyway, two weeks ago (wow it's been a while) I went to the bloggers fashion week event at OXO2. The event was targeted at brands and bloggers so that bloggers had a chance to network with brands and form collaborations and also socialize with other bloggers. There were loads of cool brands that I hadn't heard of before that showcased products from nail polish and jewelry to candles and perfumes and there was also a fashion show in between. It was also very cool to see what other people were wearing (I usually get inspired by looking at people's outfits rather than from fashion magazines).
More content is soon to come. Watch this space! xx

Bricks and Rust

Pinafore- Asos, Top- similar here, Shoes- Asos, Bag- Accessorize

Another outfit post for all my avid readers :). I was loving the A-line skirt trend I saw almost everyone sport this summer and decided to jump on the bandwagon but with a twist in the form of an A-line pinafore. Once I saw it on Asos, I had to get it! It takes me back to my primary school days where I had to wear a similar sort of thing. Hope everyone has had a great week!

This bag. I don't know what it is exactly that draws be to this bag but I want it. I've been coveting this little shoulder bag for the longest time. It's so simple and such a beautiful piece. You can tell it would go with just about anything you wear. And don't get me started on the different colours! If I could actually afford this bag I probably would be so indecisive about what colour to get it in that I would end up not even purchasing it.
I drool just a little everytime I spot a blogger sporting this little piece of gold.
Luckily though, there is a cheaper alternative!
Although this cute zara alternative doesn't quite match up to the fabulous Chloe Drew it is still a great structured, textured piece and would fit nicely in place of the Drew.

Shirt- Topshop, Jeans- Topshop, Trainers- Nike via Asos, Bag- gift, Watch- Parfois

Hey guys, this is pretty much an everyday look for me (trainers, comfy jeans and a slightly over-sized top or shirt). I wasn't doing much today (I was actually on my way to buy some food when I took these) so this outfit seems appropriate. However, if I was going out I probably would have worn the same thing haha.

Top- UO, Mom jeans- UO, Shoes- New Look, Denim Jacket- Blitz Remix, Bag- Parfois

So I've obviously been taking advantage of the Urban Outfitters sale judging by my top and jeans. I've been wanting blue mom jeans for ages (I already have them in black). I'm so happy I found these. Hope everyone is having a great day! xx

Shades of denim

Top- primark, shorts- Rockit, Tote- Tedx UCL event, Shoes- H&M, cuff- ebay

I seem to be wearing a lot of denim these days. I thought I'd pair together two different shades and I think it turned out pretty good. I wore this to my favourite ice cream place, Amorino (hence the ice cream pic). Their ice cream is so good! The seating area upstairs is pretty cosy as well. Seriously guys, go treat yourself! :)
Also, below Jenna Lyons shows us how to roll up our sleeves the right way (ever since I watched this video I've been rolling up my sleeves this way).
